True to tradition, the Bitmappers computer club (Hasselt) had their 5th Ubuntu Meeting, centered around the recently released Ubuntu 10.04, on Sunday May 16th (10am till 6pm; @Cultuurcentrum, Genk). Open Future provided several speakers; Check the details at ubuntu-meeting.be.

Een nadeel dat dikwijls aangehaald wordt wanneer er over Ubuntu gesproken wordt, zijn de
games. Een groot deel van de PC uptime gaat naar het spelletjes spelen en het is een
feit dat de meeste games die je in je favoriete software winkel ziet liggen of in de
magazines besproken ziet, niet zullen werken op Linux. 

Maar klopt deze bewering wel?
Tijdens Ubuntu en Games overlopen we de vele mogelijkheden, van de bijgeleverde games tot
de vele Open Source games en commerciele Linux & Windows games!
