This project started with the concept to have a server post messages to identi.ca (or twitter or whatever that does that.) Having the machine talk to you in Random messages, at random times (random sleeps, between 50 to 200 minutes) in the style of Marvin the Paranoid Android.

Modes

  • Generate single random quote
  • Generate single specific quote
  • Run mode - print messages & info to tty
  • Daemon mode - fork & maybe log some stuffs

Settings

  • Interval (between 50 and 200 minutes)
  • Only use the following messages
  • Dont use the following messages
  • Style (Default: Marvin. Alternatives: Happy, sec, ..)
